Outline

These daylong programs, wonderfully energizing and enriching, will cover the basics of energetic cultivation for health and longevity, provide a complete set of practices to take home, and offer an introduction into the use of Medical Qigong for self healing, as homework prescriptions to clients, and as a healing modality.

The Qigong portion, focusing on posture, breath and intention, will cover simple yet
profound movements to generate, circulate, regulate, and store Qi. The sitting
practices will include meditations that help calm and concentrate the mind, awakening
inner freedom and present moment awareness.

This workshop will give new participants the opportunity to learn, while enabling
experienced participants to go deeper into their practice. Everyone will have the opportunity to feel the energy as it circulates through the meridians, directed via posture, breath, and intention.

Can I attend an event like this more than once?

Absolutely. The benefits of Qigong are vast, but they can be realized only through sincere, consistent, and correct practice. Because Qigong is best learned through repetition and regular contact with the teacher, it is important to remain exposed to instruction, attend regular practice sessions, as well as maintain a daily practice at home. Attending an event more than once provides the opportunity to refine the movements, ask questions, and practice in the collective field of the teacher and other participants, all of which which amplifies the effect.
